"I just kept asking myself, 'What would be the ultimate thing we could if the Cardinals went to the World Series.' and the answer I came up with was to run a poster A1 every day of the series. It was unchartered territory for the Post-Dispatch. I did some prototypes and presented them to the editor, managing editor, sports editor, photo editor, sports design coordinator, design director, ame for production and page one editor. I listened to what they had to say, used that information to make the pages better, then presented a second set of prototypes. This time I got everyone to sign off on it and made it happen. I designed the first one and sports design coordinator Carlos Ayulo designed the remaining three." — Chris Snider
