Here are the front pages of the two Twin Cities papers today.
Good, prominent reefers to online coverage in the Strib and Pioneer Press. Even though that's sort of a sad admission that "yeah, this information you're reading is out of date." I like how the Strib sends you to a dedicated bridge coverage page that's got everything in one spot (and, interestingly, no ads).
Also, front pages from the Top 50 circ US dailies are here.
Not that the PiPress 1A isn't dramatic or anything - but in a two-paper town, is it really a good idea to minimize the paper's nameplate THAT much? It reminds me of some of the Virginian-Pilot front pages we've seen here...but they're more or less the only paper in the market (give or take the Daily Press in Newport News.)
Posted by: Scott Fybush at August 2, 2007 10:46 AMInteresting to see the play across the country. I liked the locals' presentations. For a story with a lot of information (even if a lot was old), the Pioneer Press put out an extremely clean page. I blogged about some other stuff (e.g. could the P-D's headline have been longer, possibly?) as well. Thanks for the nation-wide gallery, great content.
