

I'm glad they got Holovaty. He'll open some designers' eyes to the concepts of news-as-data. We're all information architects, after all, right?

I went to his session at the Media Giraffe in Amherst in July and learned a lot about screen scraping, Django and how powerful reporting and editing from the command line can be.
We need to perfect human cloning - every newsroom in the world needs about 10 Holovaty's on their staff.
Looks like there will be a lot of NYTco talent on the stage for Boston as well.
