For more Sept. 11, 2001 pages, the Newseum has a gallery of more than 100 pages, and Poynter has a couple hundred from Sept. 11 and 12.
I'd like to see a complilation of fronts from today as well.
Posted by: than at September 11, 2006 12:02 PMI was very shocked at the El Universial photo they ran above the flag. At first I didn't know what in the world it was, so I clicked to get the bigger photo, and "Oh my god" was all I could say.
I couldn't imagine an American paper running that photo, and don't remember seeing a photo like that in all the coverage I saw. Didn't some media decided not to show again photos/video of the people who jumped.
Was there any discusion about this photo at the time? Looking back, does anyone have any opinion about it?

Autumn: If I remember correctly (I'll have to check later), The New York Times ran a version of that photo quite large inside. I think a lot of other newspapers did as well. Many papers, including the Times, also ran the famous "Falling Man" photo by Richard Drew of the AP.
