The azzurri did it! Here’s the thrill and the agony as reflected on the front pages of Italy and France.
Update: Paco at Maquetadores has posted a bunch more pages from all over the world, and sajeev kumar t.k, front page editor of Kerala Kaumudi in Kerala, India, has posted some of his paper's pages.
In with a bang, out with a whimper.

Posted by: Paco at July 10, 2006 11:11 AMThough world cup soccer was held in Germany the interest generated in India is veryhigh. So our dailies had to think about new options. We Kerala Kaumudi ,a Malayalam daily publishing from Kerala ,India attempted magazine treatment for the front page for the major part of tournament. And it turned out to be a grand success
