


Speaking of non-traditional ad placement, Steve Dorsey points out that the above "Z-shaped" island ad ran in both Detroit papers and dozens of others last fall.
It's certainly good for the advertiser, nice and eye-catching... but again, bad for the reader, who just wants to read the news without having to do eyeball acrobatics to follow the flow of the stories.
