

The Orlando Sentinel laid off 21 people today, six in the newsroom, including a page designer and graphic artist.

*ATwo news clerksThe decision was also made not to replace six open newsroom jobs that were budgeted to be filled in 2006. And five journalists will retire from the newsroom by the end of the year and will not be replaced.
