As the Houston Chronicle discovered today, when it comes to baseball, a lot can happen in four months. (Thanks, Bill!)
One would think that any headline beginning "Houston, we have a (fill in the blank)" would have been banned by the Chonicle 20 years ago. It's kinda lame for such a big happening.
Posted by: Jim K. at October 21, 2005 6:48 PMNo kidding. We don't have more than 5-6 Houston heds a year here in Colorado and WE banned it before the playoffs began.
Posted by: Ford at October 23, 2005 12:38 AMIt just goes to show you that sports writers, as much as they'd like us to think otherwise, have just as little idea of who's going to win and who's going to lose as the rest of us. Especially when it comes to baseball.
