The judging of the 26th Society for News Design contest begins this weekend in Syracuse (forecast: Cloudy with snow. Cold. High 18F. Winds WNW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 90%. 3 to 5 inches of snow expected), and Jay Small (aka the SND International Web Desk) will be blogging live from the judging. They've enabled comments on the weblog entries, so it should be an interactive affair. They will not, however, tell you if you won anything, consarn it.

Cool, I get to be the first to post about this event from the actual site. Not much to report, especially if I want to keep my job as an assistant here. Oh, wait, I'm now a "facilitator" for the judges. And floating judges are now called Generalists. Gotta love it!
For all those who know Tim Ball from Indianapolis, ask him if his luggage ever arrived (he's an assistant by the way, not a judge).

Oh, that's not even my first comment spam today. But usually the bastards hit the months-old posts so I can kill 'em dead before anybody sees 'em.

I'd look at those feature pages, though!
