I don't know if it's a regular feature, but I rather liked what the OC Register did on A2 last Friday. As I've learned with this weblog the past couple months, a lot of non-journalists are keenly interested in how stories like these are handled in various media around the world. Since how events are perceived in the world can have consequences, perhaps this is something newspapers ought to help their readers keep an eye on.
It's a great idea. The Australian has an Editor section in their weekend edition that I like. It gives summarised editorial content from papers all around the world on any and every subject. There are always several 'stories' with extended focus on particular issues such as Abu Ghraib. I always look forward to it.
Unfortunately I don't think it's available online.
I particularly like the way that this could be use as a classroom resource in high schools.

I think it's online at guardian.co.uk/editor
