

Slate today jumps right on that Times typeface change of two weeks ago. (Taking advantage of that immediacy-of-the-Web thing, ain't they?) Not much there you haven't read, er, elsewhere. The writer does some thumbsucking about the Times and its "self-image" and at the end tries to read something into the fact that the Times' story neglected to mention, uh, Howell Raines. Well, duh!
